Dr. Maria Georgo (Dr. G.) is always there to ‘listen and to help’, an expert in ‘difficult conversations’; creating safe spaces for conflict, open communication, listening, diversity, inclusion, and equity. From executive and group coaching to leadership development and organization transformation, Dr. G., a social scientist and licensed mental health counselor, is sought after as a speaker, teacher, facilitator, coach, and counselor. Known as ‘the best kept secret to your success’, she brings 15+ years experience changing lives and organizations with her eclectic and innovative style and varied areas of experience, including mental health, implicit bias, anti-racism, privilege, prejudice, neurodiversity, gender diversity, media effect, strategic development, workplace culture, and more. Dr. G. has a PhD from Nova Southeastern University in Humanities and Social Sciences: Specializing in conflict analysis and transformation. She also holds a BA degree from Salisbury State University in Communications with a minor in Business and Education, and a MS degree in Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. In addition to her many roles, Dr. G. is also a part-time faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University and Valencia College and is in private practice as a licensed mental health counselor. She is noted for being a catalyst, impacting positive change in the lives of many with an eclectic and inclusive style and passion for cross-cultural understanding.

This facilitated activity helps participants become more self-aware and understanding about their own and others' 'unearned assets'. These 'assets' or what are otherwise known as privileges are at the root of so much misunderstandings, biases, inequities, and more.
